Biosynthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Bersama engleriana Fruits Extracts and Their Potential Inhibitory Effect on Resistant Bacteria

The absence of novel, safe, and effective bactericide is an urgent concern worldwide remains a challenge in scientific communities. unique proprieties silver nanoparticles (SNPs) synthesized from plant extracts make them suitable candidate to overcome these limitations. Herein, we SNPs Bersama engleriana fruit (BEfr) determined their potential antibacterial activity mode action. were BEfr methanolic at 25 70 °C, the effectiveness against bacterial strains was investigated. surface plasmon resonance peaked 430.18 434.08 nm, respectively, for confirming synthesis. BEfr-SNPs had minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) range 0.234 >50 µg/mL, which 30-fold greater than extract alone (MIC 500 µg/mL). BEfr-SNPs-25 °C potent six (S. aureus, S. enterica, MRS. K. pneumonia, pyogenes), with MIC 0.339 6.25 µg/mL. action achieved by MRSA bacteria strain outer membrane DNA nucleotide linkage. These results suggest that our SNPs, especially demonstrated enhanced effect could be candidates infection treatment.
